We are running SAP ERP6.0 ehp6 IDES version on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Database as MS SQL Server. We recently getting an error frequently like "Timeout expired: The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding(Microsoft SQL Server)" while trying to connecting the database using "Windows ms sql dtabase studio".
Can anyone please help me to fix this issue, we running this instance from last one year but didn't get any of error like this. At this time the SAP Instance was very slow and sometimes we not able to login also to this we try to stop the instance using MMC nad again start the sap instance then its able to login and works fine.., but after few hours like after 24 hrs the same problem occurs and we just try to stop and start.
Please help me to fix this to avoid the inconvenience.
